Chris Boas
Head of Credit Markets
Chris Boas is Head of Credit Markets for Citadel Securities. Prior to joining Citadel in 2006, Mr. Boas was Global Head of Structured Credit Trading for Morgan Stanley. Previously, he spent seven years trading interest rate and credit products for Swiss Bank Corporation.
Mr. Boas holds a bachelor’s degree from Corpus Christi College, Cambridge.
James Boyle
Co-Head of Equity Derivative Trading
James Boyle is Co-Head of Equity Derivative Trading. Prior to joining Citadel in 2009, Mr. Boyle spent 13 years with Bank of America/Merrill Lynch, most recently as Global Head of Equity Derivative Trading. Mr. Boyle spent much of his time at Merrill Lynch building the equity derivative business and ran numerous trading desks including index options, convertible bonds, exotics, LatAm and Delta One.
Mr. Boyle earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Saskatchewan in Canada and an MBA from Columbia University.
Andrew Kolinsky
President, Citadel Execution Services
Andrew Kolinsky is President of Citadel Execution Services (CES). Prior to joining Citadel in 2005, Mr. Kolinsky was responsible for all aspects of maintaining and building the broker/dealer business at Knight Capital Group as Managing Director and Head of Broker/Dealers Sales & Marketing.
Before joining Knight Capital Group in 2000, Mr. Kolinsky was Executive Vice President of Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Public Relations and Operations and a non-voting member of the Board of Directors at the Chicago Stock Exchange. Mr. Kolinsky spent 13 years at the Philadelphia Stock Exchange, where his final position was First Vice President Marketing & Client Services.
Mr. Kolinsky holds a bachelor’s degree from Glassboro State College (now Rowan University) and has completed the Securities Industry & Financial Markets Association’s Wharton Program. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Options Clearing Corporation and Direct Edge LLC.
Brad Kurtzman
Co-Head of Equity Derivative Trading
Brad Kurtzman is Co-Head of Equity Derivative Trading. Prior to joining Citadel in 2009, he spent eight years with Bank of America/Merrill Lynch, most recently as the Head of US Index and Exotics trading. Mr. Kurtzman began his career as a quantitative analyst focused on Equity Derivatives and drove the development of Merrill Lynch’s automated market making and equity derivatives technology platforms.
Mr. Kurtzman earned a bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from Columbia University.
Brian Maier
Co-Head of Investment Banking
Brian Maier is Co-Head of Investment Banking for Citadel Securities. Prior to joining Citadel in 2009, Mr. Maier held several senior positions with Merrill Lynch, most recently Head of the Consumer Industries Group and Head of Equity Private Placements. Before joining Merrill Lynch, he was responsible for several investment banking efforts at Goldman Sachs, including the leadership of the REIT Group, as well as the Hospitality & Leisure Industry Group.
Mr. Maier received a Bachelor’s Degree from Colorado College, and graduated with an MBA from Northwestern University as an FC Austin Scholar.
Carl Mayer
Head of Leveraged Finance
Carl Mayer is Head of Leveraged Finance for Citadel Securities. Prior to joining Citadel in 2009, Mr. Mayer was Head of Leveraged Finance Capital Markets and a member of the Origination Capital Committee at Merrill Lynch. Previously, he was a Managing Director in High Yield Capital Markets at Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. He also served as a managing director at Bear Stearns and as a Senior Vice President at GE Capital.
Mr. Mayer is a graduate of Florida State University and earned his MBA from the University of Southern California.
Paul Pepe
Head of Equity Capital Markets
Paul Pepe is Head of Equity Capital Markets for Citadel Securities. Prior to joining Citadel in 2009, Mr. Pepe spent nearly 22 years with Merrill Lynch, most recently as head of the Americas Corporate Finance Group. Prior, he co-headed the Equity-Linked Capital Markets Group, which comprises convertible bond origination and corporate equity derivative coverage. Previously Mr. Pepe managed the corporate equity derivative effort at the firm. He began his career at Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company (now JP Morgan).
Mr. Pepe has a bachelor’s degree from Adelphi University and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
Craig Stine
Co-Head of Investment Banking
Craig Stine is Co-Head of Investment Banking for Citadel Securities. Prior to joining Citadel in 2009, Mr. Stine spent nearly 18 years with Citi (legacy Salomon Brothers), most recently as Co-Head of the North American Financial Institutions Group and Head of Diversified Financials & Banks. He began his career with PNC Financial Group in Philadelphia.
Mr. Stine earned a bachelor’s degree from Hobart College.
Brennan Warble
Head of Institutional Sales
Brennan Warble is Head of Institutional Sales. Mr. Warble joined Citadel in 2009 from Merrill Lynch, where he was most recently Head of Americas Equity Sales. During his years at Merrill, Mr. Warble held many senior positions in the equity business, including Head of Latin America Equities, Global Head of Convertible Bond Sales, Head of U.S. Convertible Trading, Head of Americas Derivatives Sales, and Head of Americas Cash Sales Trading.
Mr. Warble graduated from St. Lawrence University.
